Blended Intensive Programmes<\/strong> (BIPs) are short, blended learning formats that combine online activities with an on-site intensive component lasting at least 5 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BIP titled \u201cSafe & Trusted AI in Tourism: Mobile Assistants for Real-World Trips<\/strong>\u201d has been developed to examine how mobile technologies and AI, including generative AI, can be applied responsibly in tourism and hospitality. The programme focuses on practical scenarios such as city guidance, mobility support, event and change information, and hotel guest assistance, with a strong emphasis on user trust, safety, privacy, and accessibility. Through a combination of online learning sessions and face-to-face workshops, participants will work in international teams to design and prototype a mobile-first AI assistant, culminating in a final pitch and demonstration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
