Applications for undergraduate university studies at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management are submitted through the National Information System for Applications to Higher Education Institutions at www.postani-student.hr<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\nApplicants who completed their high school education abroad are not required<\/strong> to take the Croatian State Matura exams in order to enrol in higher education institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\nValidated copies of the following documents should be sent to the following address:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candidates applying for the Business Economics in Tourism and Hospitality program, Hospitality Management module in English (tuition-based)<\/strong> must complete a Motivational Interview<\/strong> prior to enrollment. The interview is conducted at the Faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\nRegistration for the Motivational Interview must be completed via the link: Apply for the Interview<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\nAfter registering, the candidate will receive an invitation for an online interview. Without completing this requirement, the candidate cannot enroll in the Business Economics in Tourism and Hospitality program, Hospitality Management module in English. Applicants who completed their high school education outside Croatia must undergo the recognition procedure for their foreign qualification to be eligible for enrollment in undergraduate studies in Croatia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n- Prepare the Required Enrollment Documentation:<\/strong>

After the ranking list is published, you will receive an email from the Faculty with instructions for registering for digital enrollment. The registration link will become active the following day.

Candidates who have an email address ending with @skole.hr<\/strong> in the system must replace it with an email from another domain (e.g., @gmail.com) before the ranking list is locked<\/strong>.
<\/li>\n\n\n\n- On July 16, 2026, at 9:00 AM<\/strong>, the enrollment application will open. Access the digital application and complete all steps as instructed. You must complete the enrollment process by July 17, 2026, at 12:00 PM<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

Entry requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/span><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\n
\n- Candidate who has completed a relevant secondary education program lasting at least four years and have passed the Croatian State Matura exam.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Candidate who completed a relevant secondary education program lasting at least four years in the Republic of Croatia before 2010, without the requirement of passing the Croatian State \u201cMatura\u201d exam.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Candidate who has completed an equivalent education abroad.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
For enrolment in the first year of study, the following criteria are evaluated:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n- Success achieved during secondary school<\/strong> \u2013 up to 40%\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Success achieved on the Croatian State Matura exam<\/strong> \u2013 up to 60%, including:
Croatian language \u2013 up to 20%\u00a0
Mathematics \u2013 up to 20% (Level B)\u00a0
Foreign language \u2013 up to 20% (Level B)\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n- State competitions<\/strong> \u2013 5%\u00a0(State competitions in all disciplines are evaluated for enrolment in the first year of study.<\/strong>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Categorized athlete (categories 1-6)<\/strong> \u2013 5%<\/li>\n\n\n\n

- Prerequisite for Enrolment \u2013 Motivational Interview<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
The motivational interview in English language is a mandatory part of the selection process. The committee evaluates the applicants based on the interview. The motivational interview is an onsite or online discussion regarding the candidates’ motivations and interest in the field of business economics in tourism and hospitality, with a special emphasis on hotel management. This may include professional goals, attitudes towards a specific area, or the desire for personal development of each candidate.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Depending on the outcome of the motivational interview, candidates who meet the requirements will be ranked on the official list for enrolment in the study program.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The entry of results under items 1, 2, 3, and 4<\/strong> into the NISpVU system (National Information System for Applications to Higher Education Institutions) is carried out by the Central Admissions Office<\/strong>.
Results under items 5 and 6<\/strong> are entered directly by the Faculty<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\nOther special achievements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nThe Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management evaluates other special achievements during the selection process, allowing candidates to earn additional points as follows:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n- International competitions<\/strong> in the fields of economics, tourism, and hospitality \u2013 5%.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Knowledge of a second foreign language<\/strong> has evaluated if the candidate studied it for at least three years in secondary school or at a language school (minimum level A2). The following foreign languages are assessed: English, German, French, and Italian \u2013 5%.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Completion of another four-year secondary school<\/strong> \u2013 5%.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Candidates who are eligible to receive points based on the evaluation of special achievements<\/strong> must submit verified copies of the original documents to the Student Office of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management<\/strong> via email at studentska@fthm.hr<\/strong> by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n- July 6, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 for the summer enrollment period<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- September 11, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 for the autumn enrollment period<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Failure to submit the required documentation by the specified deadlines will result in the loss of the right to additional points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
