The Library of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management began its work as a small department with about a hundred books in 1960.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fund<\/strong>: The largest and most significant part of our fund consists of publications from fields of tourism and hospitality, but we have contains literature from all areas of economics, especially management. Our fund is considered the largest collection of books and journals in the field of hotel management in the Republic of Croatia. We are subscribed to most of the relevant world journals in the field of tourism, hospitality and management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

User structure<\/strong>: students, teachers, experts in the field of tourism and the hotel industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Premises<\/strong> and equipment<\/strong>: in total 207 m2, including a reading room of 112 m2 with 26 workstations with computers, 1 scanner, 1 printer and 1 photocopier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lending<\/strong>: Students can borrow up to 5 books for 15 days, of which 2 books from the list of compulsory reading. Users have free access to the entire fund. Membership <\/strong><\/a>form<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once a month we conduct user training sessions on the efficient use of library catalogues, databases and other information sources. After consultation with the user, we also have the possibility to conduct individual training sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free registration to Institute of Hospitality<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All our students have the opportunity to register for free with the Institute of Hospitality<\/strong><\/a>. It provides unlimited access to e-books, e-journals, webinars and industry reports from hospitality and other related fields. If you want to register, you can do it in a few simple steps. Click on Institute of Hospitality registration<\/strong><\/a> and enter the following information Username<\/strong>:  230057504 <\/strong> and Password<\/strong>:  achievement<\/strong> , after filling out the form you will receive an official email from the Institute of Hospitality about successful registration. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at knjiznica@fthm.hr. We advise you to register because you also have e-books available in this database, and the advantage is that you can use the database very easily from home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb<\/strong>, we have access to their Digital library<\/strong><\/a>, which includes the digitized collections of several related Faculties in one place. For access data please contact knjiznica@fthm.hr<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vision and mission of our Library is to support educational, scientific and professional work at the Faculty with its information sources. It acquires, processes, lends and mediates the most up-to-date information sources, especially in the field of tourism and hospitality. We strive to be as welcoming a Library as possible, where students and teachers are happy to come and feel comfortable and welcome, knowing that they will be provided with the best possible service. The Library will continue its efforts to provide our users with the most relevant and up-to-date materials and information. With our new goal, we are trying to collect more e-books and other content to make studying at the Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality a better and more valuable experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
