The project ”Shaping Inclusive Tourist Experiences” – SITE, funded by the Interreg Italy-Croatia 2021-2027 program, was presented at the ToSEE conference (Tourism in Southern and Eastern Europe), which took place on May 15-17, 2025 at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management. The project was presented at an information point where interested visitors could find out more about the project, pick up a flyer or download the digital version of the monograph ”Breaking Barriers: Designing Inclusive Tourist Destination”. In this way, the importance of the project was communicated directly to members of the academic community – increasing the attractiveness of destinations in the program area by promoting universal design as an approach that enables the inclusion of people with special needs through non-discriminatory solutions and makes tourism accessible to all.
As part of the Infopoint, interested visitors were answered questions and given additional information about the project by project team members Nata\u0161a Kova\u010di\u0107, Simone Stanki\u0107 and project manager Jelena \u0110urkin Badurina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
