The event was moderated by Marijana Kal\u010di\u0107, Director of the Matulji Municipality Tourist Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event began with an introductory presentation by Dr. Zrinka Zadel, Full Professor at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, who presented the project and shared the results of a survey conducted among the local population in the Living Lab of the Matulji and Ilirska Bistrica municipalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants in the panel discussion included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An\u0111ela Cvjetkovi\u0107, President of the LAG Terra Liburna association<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dejan Iskra, Representative of the Regional Destination Organization Postojna Cave \u2013 Green Karst<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dr. Zrinka Zadel, Full Professor at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The discussion focused on the potential of creative tourism as a driver of sustainable development in rural and border regions, with examples of good practices presented, along with possible directions for future collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the CROCUS project (Cross-Border Cultural and Creative Tourism in Rural and Remote Areas), a round table titled \u201cCreative Tourism in Rural and Border Areas \u2013 New Opportunities\u201d was held on May 15, 2025.
