The annual meeting of the CROCUS project consortium \u2013 Cross-Border Cultural and Creative Tourism in Rural and Remote Areas \u2013 was held at the University of Maribor from 25 to 27 June 2025. The meeting was attended by project partners from Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Finland, Denmark, Hungary, Estonia and Bulgaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentations of the project partners showed significant progress in achieving the project objectives and implementing the work packages so far. Guidelines for the continuation of joint research were also defined, with an emphasis on the development of business models that support cultural and creative tourism in rural and remote areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management was represented by prof.dr.sc. Zrinka Zadel, prof.dr.sc. Dora Smol\u010di\u0107 Jurdana and prof.dr.sc. Elena Rudan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would like to thank the hosts, prof.dr.sc. Tina \u0160egota and prof.dr.sc. Borut Milfelner, for their warm hospitality and excellent organization of the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
