organised as part of the project CROCUS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>The Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality, in cooperation with the STEP RI Science and Technology Park of the University of Rijeka, held a workshop on Monday, 03 February 2026, where ideas were developed that contributed to establishing the foundation for new, sustainable tourism and cultural initiatives in the cross-border region of Matulji \u2013 Ilirska Bistrica.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Stakeholders from the cultural and tourism sectors, tourism entrepreneurs, development agencies, and active citizens participated in the workshop.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The workshop was organised as part of the CROCUS \u2013 Cross-Border Cultural and Creative Tourism and Remote Areas project, funded by
