On 27 March, a training on accessible tourism and universal design was held at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Organised within the SITE<\/a> project, the event brought together tourism stakeholders to jointly reflect on how to build tourism accessible to all and create an inclusive tourist offer in the future.

Through a range of current examples and practical insights, participants explored key topics \u2014 from the principles of universal design, easy language and inclusive communication, to the essential elements in developing accessible tourist destinations.

Members of the Faculty’s SITE project team, Jelena \u0110urkin Badurina, Nata\u0161a Moreti, Hana Paleka and Daniela Soldi\u0107 Frleta, actively contributed with their presentations, supporting knowledge exchange and capacity building among participants.

The focus was on raising awareness and offering practical guidance through the sharing of good practices and experiences, highlighting how collaboration among diverse stakeholders is crucial for creating truly inclusive destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
