The activity was organized by members of the Faculty\u2019s Eco Committee, and the screening was also attended by other students and employees of the Faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The film presents an address by a group of scientists who, following the failure of the latest COP climate conference, seek to inform the public about the actual state of the climate crisis and warn about the consequences that climate change is already having on society, the economy, and everyday life. Particular emphasis is placed on the responsibility of institutions, the importance of timely action, and the need to involve citizens in discussions about the climate future of local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the screening, students had the opportunity to discuss the challenges posed by climate change, as well as the importance of sustainable development, environmental awareness, and the active engagement of the academic community in promoting sustainable practices and a responsible attitude toward the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 13 \u2013 Climate Action, by raising awareness, providing education, and encouraging joint action in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 14 May 2026, a screening of the documentary film \u201cNational Emergency Briefing\u201d was held at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, organized in cooperation with the \u017dmergo Association and the Green Network of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.
