As part of the SITE (Shaping Inclusive Tourist Experiences) project, Associate Professor Jelena Đurkin Badurina participated in the 15th International FEBST Conference, organised by the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism at the University of Split and held in Brela, Croatia.
She presented an abstract titled ‘Understanding access and accessibility: Models of Beach Management in Italy and Croatia”, which she co-authored with Associate Professor Daniela Soldić Frleta and research assistant Hana Paleka. The abstract summarises the results of desk research on the accessibility of beach areas as a topic particularly relevant to the SITE project.
The FEBST International Conference is a renowned academic gathering with a long tradition, aiming to bring together researchers and experts working on topics such as economic development, business innovation, sustainability, and tourism, and to foster open exchange of ideas and approaches to solving the pressing challenges of our time.
