On Tuesday, 7 April 2026, the second workshop within the CROCUS project, entitled “Feedback on Refinement Workshop”, was held at Dom na Vidmu in Ilirska Bistrica. The workshop brought together representatives from the business sector, cultural organisations, and the Tourist Board of Ilirska Bistrica.
Building on the two ideas proposed at the first workshop — “Cook & Eat” and “Living with Nature” — participants worked on developing business models and critically evaluating their completeness and market potential. The focus was on identifying gaps, refining ideas, and strengthening their market relevance. Key questions addressed included: what is the value proposition of each idea and does it need to be adjusted, who is the most suitable target audience for a given experience or product, and whether any elements are missing from the proposed business models.
The workshop provided valuable insights and constructive feedback, contributing to the further development of innovative and sustainable tourism products in the cross-border region of Matulji – Ilirska Bistrica. The CROCUS project (Cross-Border Cultural and Creative Tourism and Remote Areas) is funded under the Horizon Europe programme.
