As part of the Good Aquafood campaign, implemented within the MARINET project, an educational workshop titled “What do you know about aquaculture?” was held on April 27, 2026.
The workshop was organized as part of a youth engagement event, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of aquaculture and educating participants on its key benefits – nutritional quality, safety, and sustainability.
The activity was carried out by Prof. Greta Krešić, PhD, Mia Sokolović, and Klara Bažon, who encouraged active participation and a better understanding of aquaculture through a variety of engaging tasks.
At the end, a knowledge quiz was held, and the most successful participants received awards.
Such activities contribute to educating young people and raising awareness about the importance of sustainable and safe aquaculture products.
