There is only one department within the Institute of Accounting, namely the Department of Accounting.
The Institute of Accounting is important for every degree program in business administration, and a certain number of accounting courses are offered in every degree program in tourism and hotel management. This is particularly important for the implementation of the Bologna Process, as it ensures the transfer of ECTS credits to students in cooperation with related higher education institutions abroad. At the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, the study content of accounting is fully adapted to the requirements of the global hotel industry, so that within the framework of this institute, knowledge can be acquired that meets the requirements at the national and global level.
The activity of the Department/Institute, besides teaching, also focuses on scientific and professional activity, each member of the Department/Institute is specialized in this direction, with special emphasis on the creation of projects relevant to the hotel and tourism industry.
