Within the Institute of Tourism there are two departments:
- Department of Tourism and
- Department of Marketing
The importance of the Institute is reflected in the synergetic activities that link two very important and fundamental departments in tourism. The research results, especially in the field of destination marketing and management, commit us to the Institute’s continued leadership in these research areas, which are irreplaceable when it comes to responding to current trends in tourism demand.
The Institute is of no small importance when it comes to synergies within the destination and the Institute’s relationships with destinations, i.e. destination management. The contracts just signed between the faculty and the professional associations are the basis for applying scientific knowledge to concrete examples of destination management.
