As part of the twenty-seventh international congress “Tourism and Hospitality Industry”, which took place on June 6 and 7, 2024, the projects currently being carried out by the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management were presented at the Faculty. The project leaders gave a short presentation introducing the project team, the partners, the financial and narrative summary of the project, the aim and purpose and the planned and completed activities.
The Erasmus+ projects were presented by Dean Professor Marko Perić, Ph. D. in the role of the leader of the project “Hybrid Project Management Skills for Sustainable Tourism” – HyPro4ST, within which the profession of “Sustainable and Hybrid Project Manager” is being developed for the sustainable tourism sector.
After him, Associate Professor Daniela Soldić Frleta, Ph. D. in the role of the Project Manager of the second Erasmus+ project present “GreenTEA” – Improving education about green tourism in the higher education system through the development of alternative learning opportunities.
Interreg project Italy-Croatia “MARICULTURE NETWORK: Introduction of new technologies for diversified, sustainable aquaculture aimed at a healthy society and competitive regions” – MARINET in the financial perspective 2021-2027 was presented by the leader Professor Greta Krešić, Ph. D.
The Horizon Europe project “Cross-border cultural and creative tourism in rural and remote areas” – CROCUS was presented by its leader Professor Zrinka Zadel, Ph. D. and the project “Bridging Organizations and marginalized communities for Local Sustainability Transitions in EuRope” – BOLSTER led by Associate Professor. Sabina Hodžić, Ph. D. emphasizing the importance of interaction between project management and the scientific activities of the Faculty, which makes the Horizon Europe projects relevant.
