On Friday, 6 June 2025, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management held the graduation ceremonies for students who completed their studies in the 2023/2024 academic year.
The graduation ceremonies took place in the beautiful setting of the Faculty Park in Ika and brought together numerous students and their families, friends and members of the academic community to celebrate the students’ achievements.
All students, their families and guests were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Marko Perić, who said that education and graduation represent the maturity and readiness of students to put their acquired knowledge into practise and thus contribute to the development of the Croatian economy and local communities.
The Mayor of Opatija, Fernando Kirigin, also wished the graduates good luck and success for their further development.
At the promotion, university bachelors and bachelors of economics who completed university undergraduate studies in Business Economics in Tourism and Hospitality and Management of Sustainable Development and university masters of economics who completed university graduate studies in Tourism Marketing, Tourism Management, Hospitality Management and Sustainable Tourism Development were promoted.
After taking the solemn oath, the most successful students who achieved the greatest success during their studies were especially praised. At undergraduate studies, these are Endy Terlević, Luka Đanić, Nikolina Domitrović, Nina Mezak, David Kralj and Gabrijela Banić.
In graduate studies, the most successful students are Luka Prpić, Mia Sokolović, Natali Voskion, Iva Pliško, Dora Šimunić, Arijana Mustapić, Klara Keretić, Lucija Nikić, Zoja Kopjar, Emma Petković, Krešimira Zelić and Marija Posavec.
The musical performance of the duo “Lucija & Luka”, consisting of a student of the Faculty Lucija Stipanović with piano accompaniment by Luka Lukačević, further enriched the event and created an unforgettable moment for all present.
After the official part, a gathering with a glass of sparkling wine and refreshments was organized for all students and their guests in the Faculty Park, where everyone could relax and exchange their experiences.
We congratulate all our students on their successes and wish them good luck in their future challenges. We believe that the knowledge gained during their studies will be the foundation for their future careers and life paths, and that they will continue to proudly represent our institution.
