GreenTEA project meeting in Mirandela, Portugal (3–5 March 2026)

From 3 to 5 March, EsACT-IPB hosted a meeting of the Erasmus+ GreenTEA project in Mirandela, Portugal, bringing together representatives of all European partners Eszterházy Károly Catholic University from Hungary (lead), the Politechnic Institute of Bragança and PortugalNTN from Portugal, the Satakunta University of Applied Sciences from Finland, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Rijeka and the Institute of Agriculture and Tourism from Croatia.

During the three-day meeting, participants designed the detailed programme for the upcoming 2nd GreenTEA Summer course, which is due to take place in Eger, Hungary in May 2026, and discussed progress in key project areas. The meeting focused on the e-learning platform, as well as updates on the implementation of the GreenTEA curriculum in tourism and hospitality university courses and the adoption of learning materials across partner institutions and beyond. Additionally, the management and organisation of multiplier events were discussed.

Funded by the Erasmus+ programme, the GreenTEA project (Green Tourism in higher Education by developing Alternative educational materials and learning opportunities” (acronym: GreenTEA, ID 2023-1-HU01-KA220-HED-000156471) promotes the modernisation of higher education in sustainable tourism by creating innovative digital tools, new learning resources and training opportunities.
