Within the MARINET project, Prof. Greta Krešić, PhD, Jelena Kapeš and Mia Sokolović participated in the international AquaFarm fair held on February 19, 2026, in Pordenone, Italy.
During the fair, the Good AquaFood campaign was presented, aimed at raising awareness of the benefits of aquaculture, with a particular focus on the nutritional quality and safety of its products. Visitors were introduced to the campaign’s objectives and its key messages, highlighting the quality and importance of aquaculture products.
As part of the presentation, a quiz on aquaculture was organised to encourage interaction with visitors and further familiarise them with the topic of aquaculture. The most successful participants received prizes.
A project meeting and workshop were also held during the fair, where the results of the activities carried out so far within the MARINET project were presented and the next steps for the planned activities were defined.
Participation in the Aquafarm fair provided an opportunity to present the project and its activities at the international level.
