At our Faculty, we had the honour of hosting a renowned European expert in the field of tourism management, Prof. Stanislav Ivanov from the Varna University of Management, Bulgaria.
– On 30 June 2025, the professor gave an inspiring lecture on the topic of “AI and Ethics”, in which he showed how artificial intelligence can be used responsibly in the creation and publication of scientific papers.
– On 28 June 2025, the professor held a PhD workshop entitled “Robots, Artificial Intelligence and Service Automation (RAISA) in the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Industry”.
The workshop topics included:
- Key concepts: artificial intelligence, robots, service automation
- Theoretical frameworks for researching RAISA technologies in tourism and hospitality
- The economic basis of their application
- Cost-benefit analysis
- Ethics and challenges in the implementation of RAISA solutions
Through a combination of theoretical concepts and concrete examples, the doctoral students gained valuable knowledge about the challenges and opportunities of applying RAISA technologies in the tourism and hospitality industry.
