Students and employees of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management under the leadership of members of the Eco Committee celebrated Earth Day on April 22, 2024. They designed and created a poster that contains strong messages about the importance of nature conservation, environmental protection, climate protection, and rational use of energy and water.
Aware of the facts about the intensive use of natural resources, the creation of increasing amounts of waste, the increased emission of greenhouse gases, the excessive use of plastic, the students warn that people should change their habits and that each of us, even with small things, can contribute to the preservation of the Earth. Love the planet Earth as you would like others to love you, Let’s make the world a better place, We borrowed the planet from our grandchildren, A clean world is a happy world, Think sustainably, Save the world today for a better tomorrow – these are just some of the messages sent by students!
In this activity, the Faculty contributes to the goals of sustainable development: no. 13 Climate protection, goal 15 Preservation of life on Earth.
