Objective of the programme
The objective of this programme is to acquire additional expertise in the management of a modern camping resort. The programme is offered to all persons who have completed high school education, who do not have the ambition to continue with formal higher education but wish to pursue a specialised professional title. The programme is aimed at all candidates who wish to expand and perfect their previous camping knowledge or strengthen their own entrepreneurial activities. The programme is particularly recommended for those who want to start their own projects in camping tourism.
Learning outcomes, i.e. general and specific competences, skills and knowledge that the participant will acquire at the end of the programme
- Apply the theoretical and practical principles of camping resort management and organisation and know the organisational systems of camping tourism at national and international level.
- Financially monitor the operation of the camping resort and individual departments, correctly interpret accounting reports and make business decisions. Determine the success of the camping resort by selecting key business results.
- Apply the basics of marketing in the camping sector, including online, offline, PR, CRM, cross-marketing
- Explain the system of camping organisations, automobile organisations and maps in camping tourism
- Communicate properly with guests, staff, supervisors and business partners,
- Investigate the level of expectations and satisfaction of the guests
- Identify the basic activities of human resources in the camps
- Create an experience in the camps, Apply the basics of animation, Recognise the importance of interaction between the destination and the camp
- Explain the basics of selling camping services with particular emphasis on online sales and the specifics of selling camping accommodation (glamping and mobile homes)
- Assess contemporary trends and quality standards in camping tourism and design a quality service aimed at the complete satisfaction of the guest.
- Summarise the basics of operations in a camping facility, be able to define the working procedures, rights and duties of all those involved in the lower and middle management of the housekeeping department.
- Apply working conditions safely and correctly, know the basics of safety, engineering, horticulture and maintenance in camps, with particular emphasis on the application of regulations in the field of safety of persons, equipment and buildings.
- Apply the basics of investment management in camp tourism,
- Recognise the usefulness of using new IT technologies in camps
- Apply the basic principles of creating a camping master plan

The programme is run in cooperation with the Croatian Camping Association, which rewards the most successful participant with a weekend stay in a mobile home.
