As part of the MARINET project, from March 19 to 21, 2026, Prof. Greta Krešić, PhD, Jelena Kapeš, and Mia Sokolović participated in the event Days of the Mali Ston Oyster 2026, held in Ston and Mali Ston.
During the event, a range of activities were carried out, including participation in the conference Adriatic Mariculture 2026 – 2nd Scientific and Professional Conference on Mariculture in the Adriatic Sea. As part of the program, a poster titled „Kako kvaliteta, sigurnost i društveni dokaz oblikuju stavove i namjeru konzumacije školjaka“ was presented.
Promotional and educational activities were also conducted within the Good Aquafood campaign, including organizing a quiz and a giveaway aimed at informing and engaging the general public. Additionally, oyster farms were filmed, and the collected materials will be used for communication purposes on the campaign’s social media channels. The campaign was further promoted through a guest appearance on Radio Dubrovnik.
All activities contributed to the promotion of sustainable aquaculture, increased awareness of the importance of quality and safety of aquaculture products, and strengthened consumer trust.
