With the aim of familiarizing as many public sector decision-makers as possible with the activities, results, and goals of the SITE project, individual meetings were organized with representatives of the City of Rijeka, the City of Opatija, and the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. Through dialogue and joint discussion, the project team from the Faculty presented the universal design approach for accessible tourism and laid the foundation for cooperation in future project activities.
We would like to thank the Deputy Mayor of Rijeka, Mr. Goran Palčevski, the Deputy Mayor of Opatija, Ms. Kristina Đukić, and the Head of the Department for Tourism, Entrepreneurship, and Rural Development of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Ms. Alessandra Ban, for their time, exchange of information, and consideration of possibilities for further cooperation.
