On Friday, October 21, a third InCompEdu Multiplier Event was held under the name “Development and implementation of the innovative online course – examples of good practices”. The host of the event and partner in the project, the Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality, in addition to its experts also hosted lecturers from:
- coordinator, University of Gdansk (Leszek Reszka),
- University of Rijeka, Faculty of Engineering (Stjepan Gadžo),
- Economics and Technology of the University of Rijeka (Ivan Dražić),
- University of Osijek, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (Tatjana Aparac Jelušić),
- University of Rijeka, Faculty of Economics and Business (Antonija Srok i Nenad Vretenar).
Croatian experts presented the participants examples of good practice that they implement at their institutions, introduced the key elements that contribute to the successful application of online lectures, and introduced the participants to difficulties and challenges during the organization and preparation of online lectures. They explained the application of various methods, information and communication technologies in higher education. The difficulties and challenges of online tutoring were discussed. The Polish representative presented the project to InCompEdu and the planned and realized outputs during the implementation of the project so far. There were also presented tools, Kahoot and Mentimeter, in order to conduct online lectures in easier way.
The program was opened representatives of the host, Ana-Marija Vrtodušić Hrgović, vice dean for teaching, and also held by Helga Maškarin Ribarić, project manager.
The event was organized as part of the 26th international congress “Tourism and Hospitality Industry”, which is also hosted by the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija.
InCompEdu project is financed by Erasmus+ and realized during 1.4.2021 – 31.3.2023.
