At this year’s European Researchers’ Night, held on 25 September 2026, Prof. Zrinka Zadel, PhD, Prof. Elena Rudan, PhD, and Romina Agbaba, PhD, presented the European project CROCUS – Cross-Border Cultural and Creative Tourism in Rural and Remote Areas. The project focuses on connecting cultural heritage, creative tourism, and the sustainable development of rural and remote areas.
And since science is best discovered through play and exploration, we prepared a special challenge for our youngest visitors!
Together with their parents, children placed pictures of various tourist attractions on a map of Croatia and, through play, discovered the richness and diversity of Croatia’s regions and their tourism offerings.
