From 22 to 24 April 2026, the CROCUS consortium gathered for its annual meeting, hosted by the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
The event brought together partners from 9 countries and combined the WP6 and WP7 workshops with the Consortium Meeting, providing an important opportunity for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic planning.
As the project enters its final year, the meeting represented a key moment to reflect on progress achieved so far and to align on the next steps. The consortium reviewed activities across all work packages, including Living Labs implementation, business model prototyping, and the upcoming development of roadmaps for scaling these models in rural and remote areas.
Over the course of the three-day programme, participants discussed WP5 progress, including prototyping activities and reporting. They worked on WP6 concept development and stakeholder engagement, and held a dedicated WP7 policy workshop focused on future directions. The programme also addressed dissemination and exploitation activities, publication planning, as well as risk management and coordination across work packages.
The meeting in Opatija provided a productive and inspiring setting for further strengthening collaboration among partners.
Following the meeting, the consortium continues its work with renewed motivation to disseminate project results across Living Lab areas and beyond.
