Mobility of teachers/researchers
The mobility of teachers/researchers is primarily encouraged within the CEEPUS and ERASMUS+ mobility program. The bilateral cooperation agreement between the host institution – the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management and home institution (university / faculty) of teacher/researcher is the the basis for mobility. The agreement should ensure reciprocity concerning staff mobility.Mandatory knowledge of English language is minimum level of B2 or higher or the language of instruction at the partner institution (Croatian).
Type of teacher/research mobility:
- Staff mobility for teaching – Erasmus+ mobility (uninterrupted stay)
- Staff mobility for training – Erasmus+ mobility (uninterrupted stay)
- Staff mobility for teaching – CEEPUS mobility (uninterrupted stay)
- Guest lecturer (interrupted stay)
- Researcher (uninterrupted stay)
- Researcher and lecturer (uninterrupted stay)
Special types of mobility:
- International course coordinators/associates/assistants on undergraduate,graduate and Ph.D. Programs at FTHM (interrupted stay)

Before the mobility at FTHM

Accommodation
CEEPUS mobility (PhD)
The accommodation will be arranged for you in a student dormitory in Rijeka for the period of the awarded mobility grant and it is paid by the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes.In order to arrange you accommodation contact:

Other types of mobilities (Erasmus, etc.)
Accommodation for the ERASMUS+ grant holders and other is NOT provided by the Faculty or University.
The Faculty is located on the coast, making accommodation availability scarce, especially during the spring and summer months. Therefore, we strongly recommend booking your accommodation as early as possible to secure a suitable place to stay.
If you are looking for accommodation near the Faculty, consider searching in the following nearby locations:
- Ika – the small town where the Faculty is located.
- Ičići – a nearby town within close proximity to the Faculty.
- Lovran – approximately a 20-minute walk or a 10-minute ride by bus line 32.
- Opatija – reachable within 20 minutes by bus line 32.
- Rijeka – located 20 kilometers away, with a 55-minute ride on bus line 32 to the Faculty.
If you are arranging your own accommodation, especially if you do not have a car, ensure that your chosen location is within walking distance of the Faculty or has access to bus line 32 for convenient transportation.
