
Scientific conference SITECON 2026
SITECON 2026 is a scientific conference dedicated to the development of inclusive and accessible tourist destinations. The conference will be held on May 27, 2026 in Opatija, and serves as the final event of the SITE – Shaping Inclusive Tourist Experiences project, financed by the Interreg Italy-Croatia 2021-2027 programme.
Conference theme, “Shaping Inclusive Tourist Destinations & Societies” brings together policy makers, researchers, tourism stakeholders, practitioners, destination authorities and different associations, with the aim of exchanging scientific insights, examples of good practice and innovative solutions in the field of universal design and accessibility in tourism.
Participation at the conference is available to registered and confirmed participants only.
