The kick-off meeting of the SITE project took place

On 19 and 20 March 2024, a kick-off meeting was held in Trieste as part of the SITE project (Shaping Inclusive Tourist Experiences), which is funded under the Interreg Italy-Croatia programme.

The meeting was attended by project members from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Nataša Kovačić, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Daniela Soldić Frleta, Associate Professor Ph.D. Jelena Đurkin Badurina and Simone Stankić mag. oec., univ. spec. stud. eur.

The SITE project deals with the concept of universal design as a tool for creation of non-discriminatory solutions for increased participation in tourism of people with special needs, not only for people with disabilities, but also for families with young children, elderly people and other specific groups.
