Management of Sustainable Development

Learning outcomes at postgraduate university doctoral study

Upon completion of the study Management of Sustainable Developmment, skills and competences needed to carry out independent scientific research in the scientific area of social sciences, scientific field of economics are acquired.

Upon successful completion of the study programme, participants will attain the following learning outcomes:

  • In-depth theoretical knowledge of the field of economics and the specifics of sustainable development determinants
  • Interdisciplinary connections with other scientific areas and scientific fields
  • Critical thinking and reasoning
  • Ability to define relevant research problems
  • Application of the most modern research methods, tools and procedures
  • Ability to analyse, synthesize and find appropriate explanations while using an interdisciplinary approach
  • Ability to follow and comprehend theoretical knowledge
  • Autonomy and self-initiative in work, along with the ability for lifelong learning and adapting to new conditions
  • Ability to work in research teams and in an international environmentt.

Upon completion of the study the academic degree Doctor of Science (Ph.D.) in the area of social sciences, field of economics is acquired.
